First Time Member Login

Are you already a member of the American Peony Society?  The new website has a number of features for members, but first time login steps are required for you to take advantage of them.  At the time of this writing, login will only allow you to view your account information, but in early 2020 the Member Portal will become available through website subscription and most APS members will want to take advantage of this feature (more on this at a later date).

First Time Login Procedures:

  • Background:
  • While you may already be a member of the APS, you need to become a user of the website.  The following procedure will enable you to become a user.
  • You must have supplied an email address to the American Peony Society in order to use the website’s member login.  (most members do this when they applied for membership)
  • If you do not have a recorded email with the APS and would like become an APS website user, please contact our membership chair at:  membership@americanpeonysociety.org and provide an email that you will use for login.
  • 1st TIME LOGIN:
    1. In the website’s navigation, click on JOIN TODAY!  
    2. A SIGN UP page will appear.  Fill in your registered Email address* and create a Password*.  Please record/save your password for future reference.
    3. Click Register in the orange oval at the bottom of the form.
      • If you are already an APS member and have supplied the APS with an email you will be taken to your account information.  Congratulations-you are in!
      • If you are not yet an APS member you will be taken to the Purchase Membership page.   You need not be an APS member to be a website user (free of charge), but will not have access to the Member Portal in 2020 and other member benefits.  Become a member for full benefits and support APS’ many initiatives and activities.  See APS Member Benefits for further information.
    4. Upon completion of the above you can now login to the APS website by clicking on the Member Login found in the website’s navigation and will no longer need to use the JOIN TODAY link.
  • PASSWORD RESET:
    1. If you are interested in resetting your password or have forgotten it, you may do this at any time.
      • Click on Member Login and enter you email or username in the Email Address* field.
      • Below the Login In oval, click on Lost your password?
      • In the form produced enter your email or username.
      • Click Reset Password in the orange oval.
      • An email will be sent to your Email account.
        • If a message does not show up in your email program’s inbox, please check your SPAM folder or filtered email to locate the reset message.  Gmail and a number other email providers will automatically mark password resets of this type as spam.  Please mark the message/APS website as ‘not SPAM’
      • Follow directions provided in the email and record/save your new password for future reference.
