Parentage: P. cathayana x unknown. First bloom unknown, first propagated 2022. Late blooming SINGLE to SEMI-DOUBLE flowers are clear pink, 15 cm (6.75”) in diameter, upward facing, and average one per stem. Guard petals are rounded, notched, and are typically 6 cm (2.4”) in width. Fragrant. On average, flowers carry eight yellowish-green, moderately hairy carpels. Stigmas are reddish-purple, and of normal anatomy. Stamens are between 1.25-2 cm (0.5-0.75”) in length, with light pink filaments that fade to white at the tips. Sheath is complete; light pink in color. Fertile both ways. Plants reach 90 cm (35.5”) at maturity, and carry broadly-cut, green foliage. Growth habit is upright. Name romanized is Yùtáng fěn miàn, roughly translating to “Yutang noodles”.
