Parentage unknown. First bloomed 2018, first propagated 2022. Midseason blooming SEMI-DOUBLE flowers are light, purplish-pink, 13.5cm (5.31”) in diameter, upward facing, and average one per stem. Guard petals are flat and notched, and are typically 7.3cm (2.87”) in width. Fragrant. On average, flowers possess five moderately hairy carpels that are a pale yellow-green color. Carpels carry yellowish stigmas with irregular, feathered anatomy. Stamens are more than 2cm (0.75”) in length. Produces both pollen and seeds. Sheath is partial, and pale yellow-green in color. Plants reach 165cm (5.41”) at maturity, and carry broadly cut, green foliage. Growth habit is upright. “Yu” means as bright as jade. “Jiao” means delicate and beautiful.
