Seedling number I14CHFH. Parentage unknown. First bloomed 2018, first propagated 2022. Midseason blooming SEMI-DOUBLE flowers are pale, purplish-pink, edged by a lighter shade of purplish-pink. Flowers are 19cm (7.48”) in diameter, upward and outward facing, and average one per stem. Guard petals are rounded, ruffled, cupped, twisted, and notched, and are typically 4.3cm (1.69”) in width. Fragrant. On average, flowers possess six sparsely hairy carpels that are a pale yellow-green color. Carpels carry vivid purplish-pink stigmas of normal anatomy. Stamens are more than 2cm (0.75”) in length, with reddish-purple filaments that fade to pale yellow-white at the tips. Produces both pollen and seeds. Sheath is complete, and purplish-red in color. Plants reach 102cm (40.16”) at maturity, and carry broad-pointed, purplish-red foliage. Growth habit is upright. “Ying” means to welcome and greet.
