Mid-late season blooming SINGLE flowers are pink, 16-18 cm (6.3-7”) in diameter, upward facing, and average one per stem. Guard petals are ruffled, notched, and are typically 7.7 cm (3”) in width. Purple flares with sharp edges emanate from flower center and transcend approximately 33% of overall petal length. Fragrant. On average, flowers carry five yellow-green, moderately hairy carpels. Stigmas are reddish-purple, and of normal anatomy. Stamens are more than 2 cm (0.75”) in length, with reddish-purple filaments that fade to white at the tips. Sheath is complete; reddish-purple in color. Fertile both ways. Plants reach 75 cm (29.5”) at maturity, and carry broadly-cut, green foliage. Growth habit is upright. Name romanized is Hóngfěn Xiāng Luó.
