Early midseason blooming DOUBLE flowers are pink, 15.25 cm (6”) in diameter, upward facing, and average one per stem. Guard petals are cupped, rounded, ruffled, and are typically 5 cm (2”) in width. Fragrant. No carpels. Stamens are between 1.25-2 cm (0.5-0.75”) in length, with filaments that are uniformly yellow in color. Staminodes are linear and spatulate in structure, and identical in color to the surrounding petalage. Produces pollen; no seed fertility to date, though carpels may occasionally be present on a sidebud. Disk is obscure. Leaflets are broad-pointed, and green in color. Plants reach 71 cm (28”) at maturity. Growth habit is upright; mechanical support is unnecessary.
