Early blooming SEMI-DOUBLE to DOUBLE flowers are very pale-yellow, 15.25 cm (6”) in diameter, upward facing, and average one per stem. Guard petals are cupped, rounded, and notched, and are typically 5 cm (2”) in width. Fragrant. Three tomentose carpels are light-green, and carry pink stigmas of normal anatomy. Stamens are less than 1.25 cm (0.5”) in length, with uniformly yellow-colored filaments. Staminodes are diverse in physical structure, and identical in color to the surrounding petalage. Produces pollen; no seed fertility to date. Disk is obscure. Leaflets are broad-pointed, and green in color. Plants reach 76 cm (30”) at maturity. Growth habit is upright; mechanical support is unnecessary.
