Back to RegistrySeedling number: 39-9B. Parentage: ‘Pastelegance’ x Seedling SG16. First bloomed 2016, first propagated 2016. Early midseason blooming SEMI-DOUBLE flowers are blush-colored, 14 cm (5.5”) in diameter, upward facing, and average one per stem. Guard petals are cupped, rounded, and are typically 5 cm (2”) in width. Subtle fragrance. Three tomentose carpels are light-green in color, and carry pink stigmas of normal anatomy. Stamens are less than 1.25 cm (0.5”) in length, with filaments that are uniformly yellow in color. Staminodes are linear and spatulate in structure, and identical in color to the surrounding petalage. Produces pollen; no seed fertility to date. Disk is apparent with few projections; pale-pink in color. Leaflets are broad-pointed, and green in color. Plants reach 81 cm (32”) at maturity. Growth habit is upright; mechanical support is unnecessary.
