Peony Registry

Seedling number: 9-60A. Parentage: Seedling SG16 x ‘Ludovica’. First bloomed 2016, first propagated 2016. Early midseason blooming SEMI-DOUBLE flowers are bright pink, 15.25 cm (6”) in diameter, upward facing, and average one per stem. Guard petals are cupped, rounded, lightly ruffled, notched, and are typically 5 cm (2”) in width. No fragrance. Four tomentose carpels are green, and carry pink stigmas of normal anatomy. Stamens are less than 1.25 cm (0.5”) in length, with uniformly yellow filament. Produces pollen, and occasionally seeds. Disk is well-developed, and is cream colored. Leaflets are broad-pointed, and green in color. Plants reach 86.4 cm (34”) at maturity. Growth habit is upright; mechanical support is unnecessary.
