Back to RegistrySeedling number: 9-13-5. Parentage: Seedling SG16 x ‘Roselette’. First bloomed 2015, first propagated 2015. Early-midseason blooming DOUBLE flowers are a blush-yellow color, 17.75 cm (7”) in diameter, upward facing, and average one per stem. Guard petals are rounded, ruffled, notched, and are typically 5 cm (2”) in width. Very fragrant. Pink flares radiate from flower center and transcend approximately 20% of overall petal length. Six tomentose carpels are cream-colored, and carry pink stigmas of normal anatomy. Stamens are less than 1.25 cm (0.5”) in length, with filaments that are uniformly yellow in color. Produces pollen; seed fertility has not been noted. Staminodes are of diverse structure, and identical in color to the surrounding petalage. Disk is apparent with few projections, and is pale-pink in color. Leaflets are broad-blunt, and green in color. Plants reach 91.5 cm (36”) at maturity. Growth habit is slightly spreading, and would benefit from mechanical support with regard to overall aesthetic in the landscape.
