Back to RegistrySeedling number: 75-118A. Parentage: ‘Majesty’s Favor’ x ‘Heavenly Red’. First bloomed 2019, first propagated 2019. Midseason blooming SEMI-DOUBLE to DOUBLE flowers are a dark raspberry red, 17.75 cm (7”) in diameter, upward facing, and average one per stem. Guard petals are cupped, rounded, ruffled, notched, and are typically 6.3 cm (2.5”) in width. No fragrance. Three tomentose carpels are cream-colored, and carry pink stigmas of normal anatomy. Stamens are less than 1.25 cm (0.5”) in length, with pink filaments that transition to yellow at the tips. Produces pollen; seed fertility has not been noted. Staminodes are of diverse structure, and identical in color to the surrounding petalage. Disk is apparent with few projections, and is pale-pink in color. Leaflets are broad-blunt, and green in color. Plants reach 81.25 cm (32”) at maturity. Growth habit is upright; mechanical support is unnecessary.
