Midseason blooming SEMI-DOUBLE flowers are pink, 17 cm (6.7”) in diameter, upward facing, and average one per stem. Guard petals are cupped and notched. Fragrant. On average, flowers possess five moderately hairy carpels that are purplish-red in color, and carry purplish-red stigmas of normal anatomy. Stamens are between 1.25-2 cm (0.5-0.75”) in length, with purplish-red filaments that lighten near the tips. Produces both pollen and seeds. Sheath is complete, and purplish-red in color. Plants reach 98 cm (38.5”) at maturity, and carry narrow-pointed, purple-green foliage. Growth habit is upright. Because the seeds were collected from “Ba Qian Dai Chun”, it is ‘Ba Qian Jia Li’.
