Seedling number 201517. Parentage: ‘Fengdan Bai’ open pollinated. First bloomed 2015, first propagated 2016. Early blooming SINGLE flowers are white, 17cm (6.73”) in diameter, outward facing, and average one per stem. Guard petals are rounded and notched, and are typically 4.87cm (1.92”) in width. Fragrant. On average, flowers possess five carpels that are moderately hairy, light green, and carry dark pink stigmas of normal anatomy. Stamens are between 1.25-2cm (0.5-0.75”) in length, with purple filaments that fade to yellow at the tips. Produces both pollen and seeds. Sheath is partial, and dark pink in color. Plants reach 168.5cm (66.37”) at maturity, and carry narrow-pointed, green foliage. Foliage at time of emergence is green. Growth habit is narrow-upright; mechanical support is unnecessary. The flowers are as white as snow, and still bloom at a lower temperature – thus, it is named ‘Bingxue Qiyuan’.
