Seedling D-410. Parentage: ‘Wine Angel’ x ‘Little Dorrit’. JAPANESE flower form. Blooms early. Medium sized flower (13 cm; 5 inches). Bright red guard petals (8 cm; 3 inches wide) are slightly uneven and crinkled. Yellow staminodes edged gold. An average of three pale green carpels having red stigmas. Tall stems (95 cm; 37 inches) with rather narrow leaflets that do not go all the way down – imparting a somewhat airy look to the bush, thus placing additional accent on the fiery flowers. No sidebuds.
