Seedling number 201423. Parentage: ‘Fengdan Bai’ open pollinated. First bloomed 2014, first propagated 2015. Early blooming SINGLE flowers are white, 16.7cm (6.56”) in diameter, outward facing, and average one per stem. Guard petals are rounded and notched, and are typically 4.64cm (1.83”) in width. Fragrant. On average, flowers possess five carpels that are smooth, strong reddish-purple in color, and carry similarly colored stigmas of normal anatomy. Stamens are between 1.25-2cm (0.5-0.75”) in length, with strong reddish-purple filaments that fade to a brilliant greenish-yellow at the tips. Produces both pollen and seeds. Sheath is complete, and purplish-red in color. Plants reach 173.4cm (68.26”) at maturity, and carry narrow-pointed, green foliage. Foliage at time of emergence is green. Growth habit is narrow-upright. The flowers are white with a hint of pink, and the combination of colors is very suitable, thus it is named ‘Danfen Xiangyi’.
