Seedling number 19-10. Parentage: ‘Seidl’s Super’ x “Pinko” (116 x ‘Good Cheer’). First bloomed 2014, first propagated 2017. Mid-late season blooming SEMI-DOUBLE flowers display a reversal of a common coloration: A strong pink color shown on the petal edge with a much paler interior. The overall effect is generally the impression of pink at a distance. Flowers are 14-16 cm (5.5-6.3”) in diameter, upward facing, and average one per stem. Guard petals are cupped, rounded, and are typically 6-7 cm (2.5-2.75”) in width. Mild fragrance. Two to three moderately hairy carpels are green in color. Stigmas are red, and of normal anatomy. Stamens are more than 2 cm (0.75”) in length, with filaments that are uniformly light-yellow in color. Fertile both ways. Leaflets are broad-pointed, and green in color. Foliage at the time of emergence is red. Plants reach 75 cm (29.5”) at maturity. Growth habit is upright; mechanical support is unnecessary. A vigorous, productive, and healthy bush that cuts well.
