Seedling number 4-27-1. Parentage not given. First bloomed 2013, first propagated 2014. Very early blooming SEMI-DOUBLE flowers are unusually shaped with ruffled and frilled petals throughout, opening pink, then fading to a blend of light pink and cream. Flowers are 19cm (7.5”) in diameter, upward facing, and average one to two per stem. Guard petals are frilled and ruffled. No fragrance noted. Flowers possess on average three very hairy, green carpels with dark-red stigmas of normal anatomy. Stamens are more than 2cm (0.75”) in length. Fertile both ways. Plants reach 80cm (32”) at maturity, and carry broadly pointed, green foliage with undertones of purple. Foliage at time of emergence is red. Growth habit is upright; mechanical support is unnecessary. Presents good potential for cut-flower production and further breeding. Named for the Roman goddess of springs and the underworld.
