Seedling number CH54. Parentage: ‘Green Lotus’ open pollinated. First bloomed 2012. NOVELTY form flowers are white with a greyed-red striated pattern, are 10.5cm (4”) in diameter, upward facing, and average one per stem. Malodorous. Guard petals are twisted and notched. On average, flowers possess five moderately hairy carpels that are green in color; stigmas are pink in color and of normal anatomy. Stamens are less than 1.5cm (0.5”) in length, with yellow to yellow-orange filaments. Produces both pollen and seeds. Disk is well-developed and complete, greyed-yellow in color, with the tip of the lobe occasionally displaying a slight purple coloration. Plants reach 60cm (23.6”) at maturity. Growth habit is upright; mechanical support is unnecessary. Plant is compact, with leaves reminiscent of P. lactiflora. The flowers have abundant anthers creating a golden center of the flower and tame pink petals. The petals are shorter, and there are typically about twenty of them in several rows. Petals remain attached to the disk, drying in place on the plant where they remain.
