Peony Registry

Parentage: ‘Josette’ open pollinated. Grown from seed from Canadian Peony Society Seed Exchange 2008, Lot #88. First bloomed 2015. Pink SEMI-DOUBLE, 6 inches (15 cm) in size. Guard petals generally rounded, shallowly notched. Inner petals smaller, somewhat fringed. Very pleasant fragrance. Height to 36 inches (90 cm). Named to recognize the 25th anniversary of the Haut-Richelieu Horticultural Society and all its volunteers. As part of that anniversary celebration and in collaboration with the city of Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, the Quebec Peony Society, and the Pivoinerie Martinus, the Society planted a collection of peonies in Robert-L’Heureux Park.
