Parentage unknown. First bloomed 2018, first propagated 2020. Midseason blooming SEMI-DOUBLE flowers are a strong reddish-purple, 14 cm (5.5”) in diameter, upward facing, and average one per stem. Guard petals are cupped, rounded, and are typically 6 cm (2.4”) in width. Highly fragrant. On average, flowers carry eight reddish-brown, moderately hairy carpels. Stigmas are strong reddish-purple, and of normal anatomy. Stamens are between 1.25-2 cm (0.5-0.75”) in length, with strong reddish-purple filaments that lighten to a brilliant greenish-yellow at the tips. Some staminodes, oblanceolate in appearance, identical in color to other petalage. No apparent sheath. Fertile both ways. Plants reach 62 cm (24.4”) at maturity, and carry narrow-pointed, green foliage. Foliage at the time of emergence is a vivid green. Growth habit is upright.
