Seedling number 5-21-1. Parentage not given. First bloomed 2013, first propagated 2015. Midseason blooming SEMI-DOUBLE to DOUBLE flowers are light pink, 15cm (6”) in diameter, outward facing, and average one to two per stem. Guard petals are ruffled and frilled. Flowers possess on average three smooth green carpels with dark-pink stigmas of normal anatomy. Stamens are between 1.25-2cm (0.5-0.75”) in length. Fertile both ways. Plants reach 75cm (29.5”) at maturity, and carry broad-pointed, green foliage with undertones of purple. Foliage at time of emergence is red. Growth habit is upright; mechanical support is unnecessary. Presents good potential for cut-flower production, and is a fine garden subject. Blooms alongside ‘Red Charm’. Named for Lomonosov, a Russian scientist and entrepreneur.
