Double type; large; midseason. Guards and central petals are very light pink; the central petals are surrounded by several rows of cream-white petals; develops high crown as flower ages; fragrant. Medium height; free-blooming; moderately strong habit. The late Henry S. Cooper said that this and PHILOMELE should be in every garden. Its greatest beauty is before it is fully developed. A very good cut-flower variety. Included in this list by vote of the Directors in spite of its rating.
