Seedling number H-2. Multi-species hybrid origin. First bloomed mid 1970’s, propagated since 2007. Has had distribution under both seedling number and name. Large DOUBLE medium pink blooms. Large guard petals have gentle waves, while the inner petals are smaller, crinkled and turn in different directions. Cream-pink stigmas and light green carpels. Petals often obscure stamens and anthers. Filaments yellow, paler towards the tips. Usually 1 bud per stem, but will occasionally produce 1 side bud. Stem height to 34 inches (86 cm), strength is good and mechanical support has not been needed. Deep green foliage lasts well through the summer. Plants are fast growers and make beautiful clumps quickly. Easily fertile both ways. Presumed tetraploid. Excellent looking seedlings being produced using other hybrid pollens. Week 4-5 bloom time.
