Back to RegistryParentage unknown. First bloomed 2021, first propagated 2024. Late blooming DOUBLE flowers are light pink with a slightly darker pink interior. Flowers are 11 cm (4.3”), upward facing, and average one per stem. Guard petals are flat, notched, and typically 4 cm (1.6”) in width. No fragrance noted. Carpels are smooth, and yellow in color; often underdeveloped and small. Stigmas are red, and of normal anatomy. Spatulate staminodes are pink in color. No pollen; produces seeds. Disk is complete, and pink in color. Plants reach 82 cm (32.3”) at maturity, and carry narrow-pointed, green foliage. Foliage at the time of emergence is yellow-green. Growth habit is upright; mechanical support is unnecessary. A fine ornamental cultivar suitable for the garden. The flower shape is elegant and graceful, reminiscent of a romantic story between two lovers.
