Seedling number TP2 55-42. Parentage: ‘Old Faithful’ x “Goldie” (Simmons #115 x “m.s.b”). First bloomed 2013, first propagated 2019. Mid-late season blooming DOUBLE flowers are light pink that fades to a light yellow-cream. Flowers are 15 cm (6”) in diameter, upward facing, and average one per stem. Guard petals are rounded, cupped, and are typically 5.5-6 cm (2-2.4”) in width. No fragrance. Four moderately hairy carpels carry plum red stigmas of normal anatomy. Stamens are between 1.25-2 cm (0.5-0.75”) in length, with filaments that are uniformly light-yellow in color. Fertile both ways. Leaflets are broad-pointed, and green in color. Foliage at the time of emergence is red. Plants reach 95 cm (37.5”) at maturity. Growth habit is upright – mechanical support is unnecessary. The cultivar is vigorous, healthy, and strong-stemmed. It also seems to cut well, with sealed buds and good vase life.
