Seedling number TP2 49-94. Parentage: Simmons # SC18-12 x Simmons #37-59 (Simmons #115 x “m.s.b”). First bloomed 2014, first propagated 2017. Mid-late season blooming DOUBLE flowers are light yellow-pink that fade to a very light yellow with age. Flowers are 15 cm (6”) in diameter, upward facing, and average two per stem (may be anywhere from one to four). Guard petals are rounded, cupped, and are typically 6-7 cm (2.4-2.75”) in width. No fragrance. Zero to two moderately hairy carpels are light-green and carry plum red stigmas of normal anatomy. Stamens are between 1.25-2 cm (0.5-0.75”) in length, with filaments that are uniformly light-yellow in color. Fertile both ways. Leaflets are broad-pointed, and green in color. Foliage at the time of emergence is red. Plants reach 90 cm (35.5”) at maturity. Growth habit is upright, though may benefit from mechanical support when subjected to unfavorable conditions. Cultivar has beautiful sealed buds and seems to last well in a vase. Vigorous and productive.
