Peony Registry

Seedling # P-BLANC-2008. First year bloomed 2008, first propagated 2011. Has had prior distribution under name here registered. Flower-in-flower form expressing as SEMI-DOUBLE to DOUBLE. Average of 3 blooms per stem. Flowers to 16½ cm (6½ inches) in size. Pure white petals with a yellow glow from embedded stamens. Guard petals more or less rounded with inner petals tending to notching. Carpels 5, moderately hairy; stigmas reddish pink, normal anatomy. Pollen-bearing stamens. Fertile both ways. Fragrance. Upright growth, free-standing, height to 81 cm (32 inches). Named with permission for the Honourable John H. Gomery, QC (retired).
