Mid-late season blooming DOUBLE flowers are, On opening, flowers are usually a medium dusky pink with occasional patches of yellow-cream. Occasionally, flowers open wholly yellow-cream color. As the flowers age, all fade to a uniform yellow-cream color. Flowers are 16 cm (6.3”) in diameter, upward facing, and average one to three per stem. Guard petals are rounded, notched, and are typically 5.5-6.5 cm (2.2-2.5”) in width. No fragrance. One to four light-green carpels carry plum red stigmas of normal anatomy. Stamens are between 1.25-2 cm (0.5-0.75”) in length, with filaments that are uniformly light-yellow in color. Fertile both ways. Leaflets are broad-pointed, and green in color. Foliage at the time of emergence is red. Plants reach 100 cm (39.4”) at maturity. Growth habit is upright; mechanical support is unnecessary. The cultivar performs very well in the garden, being strong-stemmed, healthy, vigorous, and showy. It also appears to cut well, and displays the same color variation with age when displayed in a vase as it does on the bush.
