Seedling 4K-6. Parentage: ‘Nilitz’ x ‘Lemon Chiffon.’ SEMI-DOUBLE to FULL DOUBLE flower form. Early midseason flowering. Intensely yellow-green, inclined flowers, 2 per stem, of medium size (11 cm, 4½ inches). Rounded, smooth-edged guard petals measuring 6 cm (2½ inches) in width have softly lime green flares shifting toward full green at base, and with occasional hints of pink atop. Pale yellow-lime spatulate staminodes are edged gold. Insignificant fragrance. Somewhat meandering 90 cm (36 inches) stems have slightly reddish upper parts and need support. In combination with its sideways presentation mode, the rare flower color, hard to capture on camera, establishes an aura of distinctiveness bordering on the unreal.
