Early-midseason blooming SINGLE flowers are pink, 12.7 cm (5”) in diameter, upward facing, and average one per stem. Guard petals are cupped, rounded, and are typically 5 cm (2”) in width. No fragrance. Bright pink flares with bleeding edges emanate from flower center and transcend approximately 20% of overall petal length. Carpels are two in number, tomentose, and green in color. Stigmas are pink and of normal anatomy. Stamens are less than 1.25 cm (0.5”) in length, with filaments that are uniformly yellow in color. Produces pollen; no seed fertility noted. Disk is apparent with few projections, and pink in color. Leaflets are broad-pointed, and green in color. Plants reach 76 cm (30”) at maturity. Growth habit is upright; mechanical support is unnecessary.
