Seedling number BF030. Parentage unknown. First bloomed 2021, first propagated 2022. Cultivar has been previously distributed under seedling number. Midseason blooming SEMI-DOUBLE flowers are warm light pink, shaded, with darker petal bases and margins that lighten and remain creamy pink. Flowers are 14 cm (5.5”) in diameter, upward facing, and average one per stem. Guard petals are typically 5.5 cm (2.1”) in width, arranged in two rows, and are cupped, rounded and notched.The inner petals are narrower, deeply cut, fancifully twisted and crumpled, and arranged in several layers. Highly fragrant. Carpels are zero to two in number, moderately hairy, cream-colored, and carry red stigmas of normal anatomy. Stamens are between 1.25-2 cm (0.5-0.75”) in length, with cream colored filaments that transition to yellow at the tips. Oblanceolate petalodes are cream colored. Produces pollen; seed fertility has not been noted. Disk is obscure. Leaflets are broad-pointed, and green in color with brownish ends, turning golden-red in autumn. Foliage at the time of emergence is red. Plants reach 80 cm (31”) at maturity. Growth habit is upright; mechanical support is unnecessary.
