Seedling number 36-107. Parentage: Simmons #117 x “m.s.b.”. First bloomed 2010, first propagated 2018. Mid-late season blooming DOUBLE flowers are a glowing cream with a light plum-red suffusion bleeding up from central plum-red flares. The outer petals appear more pink than those located centrally. Flowers are 12-13 cm (4.75-5.1”) in diameter, upward facing, and average one per stem. Guard petals are rounded, cupped, and are typically 6 cm (2.4”) in width. Slight fragrance. Three moderately hairy, light-green carpels carry pink stigmas of normal anatomy. Stamens are more than 2 cm (0.75”) in length, with filaments that are uniformly light-yellow in color. Fertile both ways. Leaflets are broad-pointed, and green in color. Foliage at the time of emergence is red. Plants reach 90 cm (35.4”) at maturity. Growth habit is upright; mechanical support is unnecessary. The cultivar, though sporting a somewhat smaller flower, was selected for its cut-flower potential as it has a very healthy and productive bush and appears to cut well.
