Back to RegistryParentage unknown. First bloomed 2010, first propagated 2013. Midseason blooming SEMI-DOUBLE flowers are 17 cm (6.7”) in diameter, upward facing, and average one per stem. Three types of petals are present: the first type is pale yellow-green, and the bottom is deep reddish-purple. The second type is brilliant greenish-yellow, and the bottom is deep red. The third is a combination of the first and second type, being split right and left. Guard petals are cupped, and are typically 6.6 cm (2. 6”) in width. Deep reddish-purple flares emanate from flower center and transcend approximately 31.5% of total petal length. Fragrant. Six sparsely hairy carpels are light greenish-yellow in color, and carry brilliant yellow stigmas of normal anatomy. Stamens are more than 2 cm (0.75”) in length, with filaments of two varying color patterns: the first type is pale yellow-green at the base and tip, with deep purplish-pink color displayed along the central portion. The other is brilliant greenish-yellow at the base with a deep purplish-pink central portion and finally fading to light greenish-yellow at the tips. Sheath is complete, and vivid reddish-orange in color. Produces pollen, but seed fertility has not been noted. Plants reach about 106.5 cm (42”) at maturity, and carry broadly-cut, green foliage. Foliage at the time of emergence is a dark reddish-orange. Growth habit is spreading. Stems are woody and hardy.
