Mid-late season blooming SEMI-DOUBLE flowers display a deep pink interior, fading to light pink at petal margins. Flowers are 17 cm (6.7”) in diameter, outward facing, and average one per stem. Guard petals are frilled, ruffled, and notched. Fragrant. No carpels. Stamens are between 1.25-2 cm (0.5-0.75”) in length, with purplish-red filaments that lighten near the tips. No fertility noted. Plants reach 75 cm (29.5”) at maturity, and carry narrow-pointed, green foliage. Growth habit is spreading. This variety is the bud change of the Zhongyuan peony variety “Yin Hong Qiao Dui”, because there is a phenomenon of pistil petals flowering into green colored petals, so it is called ‘Yin Hong Qiao Cui’.
