IF Wishes Were Peonies

2021 Convention – “If Wishes Were Peonies”

Schedule of Online and Live Options

The American Peony Society is excited to present “alternative” options to enjoy peonies, in leiu of the normal “live” APS Convention.  Due to the multiple impacts of the Covid-19 Pandemic, APS understands the need for options which keep members safe and healthy, and provides for those who have restricted travel.  Public and Member participation options are available for enjoying peonies through a number of online options.   APS Members have the same options as the public, but are also able to attend Society meetings and seminars, enter photos in the show, visit a number of APS Member only tour gardens and participate in the Annual Spring Auction (online).  Additionally we’d like to invite anyone to become a “Sponsor” and become a Paeonia Hall of Fame member.

If you are not an APS member and would like to participate in “If Wishes Were Peonies” offerings, we invite you to become a member at: Purchase Memberships – it’s easy and there are many other benefits.

We’ve enjoyed and appreciated the overall enthusiasm around this Virtual Show.  In our first year holding the Show we received more than 200 photos across the 9 categories.  Categories “Cultivar” and “Seedling” were particularly popular – with each receiving ~40 submittals.  Further, to date our Virtual Show Gallery has been viewed over 5000 times.
Congratulations to all of winners and a hearty thank you to all the judges and member participants who made this contest possible. We hope you have enjoyed the event as much as we have!
