This is the only hybrid peony Mr. Kelsey originated. Color a deep, rich red. 3-inch cluster of bright yellow stamens surrounded by cream colored carpels. 5½-inch bloom. Grows to a height of 36 inches or more. Striking and beautiful. Strong stems. Light green foliage. Blooming date late May.
