Species: P. albiflora. History: Originated by Mechin in 1880. DESCRIPTION IN BRIEF: Semi-double, loose, deep red, midseason, good. DESCRIPTION IN DETAIL: Semi-double type, pollen-bearing stamens mixed all through. No carpels, but a compact bunch of mixed stamens and narrow, short carpelodes in center; not well differentiated. Color rosy magenta 4 (169), medium size; odor pleasant X. Foliage very short, but wide leaflets with a tendency to divide, medium color, leathery, smooth, extending well tip to flower.
