Seedling number 9-25A. Parentage: Seedling SG16 x ‘May Lilac’. First bloomed 2019, first propagated 2019. Early blooming SEMI-DOUBLE to DOUBLE flowers are blush-pink with inner shades of lavender-pink, 14cm (5.5″) in diameter, upward facing, and average one per stem. Guard petals are rounded, ruffled, notched, and average 5cm (2″) in width. High degree of fragrance noted. Semi-double form flowers possess, on average, three tomentose, light-green carpels with red stigmas of normal anatomy. Stamens are less than 1.25cm (0.5″) long, with lavender-colored filaments that fade to white at the tips. Staminodes are also present, linear and oblanceolate in structure, and identical in color to the outer petallage. Produces pollen, though seed fertility has not been noted. Disc is well-developed, and light pink in color and apparent on semi-double flowers. Plants reach 76cm (30″) at maturity, and carry broad-pointed, green foliage. Growth habit is upright, and mechanical support is unnecessary.
