Peony Registry

Parentage: ‘Glowing Candles’ open pollinated. Grown from seed from Canadian Peony Society Seed Exchange 2008, Lot #46. First bloomed 2015. 10 petalled SINGLE flowers, 6 inches (15 cm) in size. Petals are soft pink, rounded and cupped. Carpels green, stigmas pink. Light pleasant fragrance. Height to 36 inches (90 cm). Named in honor of Jean-Marc Beauchamp (1936-2016), to recognize his tireless involvement in his community, his efforts as a volunteer in many organizations, and his pride in his community. He was an ardent ambassador of his home town, Salaberry-de-Valleyfield. Named with agreement from his wife, Mme Rachel Lachance.
