Japanese type. This is a good Japanese variety but it does have a tendency to discolor slightly at tips of staminodes. Mr. Kelsey made this report and it is just possible that the weather conditions were unfavorable at the time and this is not really a fault of the flower. We will check this season and will be able to report more fully.
