Lactiflora. Japanese type flower form. Pink-mauve guards with reverse-side in silver. Mauve-pink staminodes turn yellow at base. Carpels an attractive gray-mauve with vividly red-pink stigmata. Flowers held a bit above the pale green, veined leaflets. Bush is not wide, and stands well. An overall effect of harmony and refined splendor. First bloomed 2001. Late mid season. Seedling # MI 211
