Very large dusty pink DOUBLE flowers that are carried one to a stem, on sturdy 36 inch (90 cm) stems requiring no support. Has green carpels, smooth, usually three, with pink functional stigmas. Has stamens (cream colored at the base, then yellow) and pollen and readily makes seeds, particularly with tetraploid pollen. It has a well-developed staminodal disc colored cream-pink. As a parent it has proven to be very good for the production of double pastel seedlings. Early foliage is red, later foliage is broad-pointed and green. Blooms early midseason, and growth rate is moderate.
