Received February 14, 2021. Seedling number: 8-C1. Parentage: unknown. DOUBLE flower form. Midseason flowering. Large red flowers (at least 7 inches; 18 cm), 3 per stem. Rounded red guard petals, measuring at least 2½ inches (6 cm) in width. Fairly upright stems in excess of 31 inches (80 cm). Named after a village in Essex, England. Eye-catching flowers immediately dominate the field of vision. A spectacular variety with a majestic aura of the slightly extravagant and unusual.
