Seedling number 10-9G. Parentage: ‘Lemon Chiffon’ x Seedling #SG16 . First bloomed 2016, first propagated 2016. Early-midseason blooming SEMI-DOUBLE to DOUBLE flowers are blush pink, 15.25cm (6″) in diameter, upward facing, and average one per stem. Guard petals are cupped, rounded, lightly ruffled and notched, and are typically 4.5cm (1.75″) in width. A blush glow is apparent emanating from the inner depths of the bloom. Subtle, pleasing fragrance noted. Flowers possess four tomentose, cream-colored carpels with pink stigmas of normal anatomy – carpels are often underdeveloped or transformed, but occasionally develop fully. Stamens are between 1.25-2cm (0.5-0.75″) long, with yellow filaments. Staminodes are also present, identical in color to the outer petallage, and diverse in structure. Produces pollen, though seed fertility has not been noted. Disc is apparent with only a few projections, and is white in color. Plants reach 76cm (30″) at maturity, and carry broad-pointed, green foliage. Growth habit is upright, and mechanical support is unnecessary.
