Seedling number UHS69. Parentage unknown. Early season blooming SEMI-DOUBLE to DOUBLE flowers are yellow, 12.7cm (5″) in diameter, upward facing, and average one per stem. Guard petals are cupped, rounded, and are typically 5cm (2″) in width. Fragrance noted. Though typically underdeveloped of completely transformed, carpels, when present, number four, are cream-colored and possess pink stigmas of normal anatomy. Stamens are between 1.25-2cm (0.5-0.75″) long, with yellow filaments. Staminodes are also present, linear in structure, and identical in color to the outer petallage. Produces pollen, though seed fertility has not been noted. Disc is apparent with few projections, and white in color. Plants reach 66cm (26″) at maturity, and carry broad-pointed, green foliage. Growth habit is upright, and mechanical support is unnecessary.
