Back to RegistryParentage lost. First bloomed 2020, first propagated 2021. Early blooming SINGLE flowers are a pale yellow-cream. Flowers are 15cm (5.9”) in diameter, upward facing, and average one per stem. No fragrance noted. Guard petals are rounded or cupped and average 7.5cm (3”) in width. Possesses four very hairy, pale-green carpels with light red stigmas. Produces pollen and seeds. Stamens are 1.2-2cm (0.5-0.75”) long with yellow filaments. Plants reach 95cm (37.5”) at maturity, and carry very broad, blunt, green foliage. Growth habit is upright and does not require mechanical support. Foliage is reminiscent of P. daurica subsp. macrophylla. Presumed triploid. Suitable for ornamental cultivation. When the champagne buds are in full bloom, the flower shape is as elegant and noble as a wine glass.
