Peony Registry

Seedling number 16-82-72. Parentage not given. First bloomed 2012, first propagated 2014. Mid-season blooming SEMI-DOUBLE flowers are a salmon-pink blending with light cream yellow. Flowers are 25cm (9.8”) in diameter, upward facing, and average one per stem. Guard petals are frilled and ruffled. No fragrance noted. Flowers possess on average three very hairy, green carpels with dark pink stigmas of normal anatomy. Stamens are more than 2cm (0.75”) in length. Fertile both ways. Plants reach 90cm (35.5”) at maturity, and carry broadly pointed, green foliage with undertones of purple. Growth habit is upright and does not require mechanical support. Blooms with ‘Red Charm’ and ‘Coral Sunset’.
