Back to RegistrySeedling number LCX42012. Parentage: ‘Lemon Chiffon’ open pollinated. First bloomed 2018, first propagated 2020. Early-Midseason blooming SINGLE flowers are pale-pink with darker rose-pink at petal margins. Colors fade uniformly with age, the color differentiation remaining evident. 12.7cm (5″) in diameter, upward facing, and average one per stem. Guard petals are frilled, and are typically 5cm (2″) in diameter. No fragrance noted. Flowers possess on average three moderately hairy, pale green carpels with red, feathered stigmas. Stamens are between 1.25-2cm (0.5-0.75″) in length with red filaments. As the flowers age and color fades, the red filaments become more obvious. Produces pollen, though seed fertility has not been noted. Plants reach 66cm (26″) at maturity, and carry broad-pointed, green foliage. Foliage at time of emergence is bronze-green. Growth habit is upright; mechanical support is unnecessary.
