Seedling number 16-17-94. Parentage not given. First bloomed 2016, first propagated 2017. Mid-season blooming SEMI-DOUBLE flowers are red, 18cm (7.1”) in diameter, upward facing, and average one per stem. Guard petals are ruffled, and frilled. Has pollen, however seed fertility has not been noted. Plants reach 70cm (27.5”) at maturity, and carry broadly pointed, green foliage with undertones of purple. Growth habit is upright, and mechanical support is unnecessary. A fine cut-flower, and vigorous grower. Named for the instrument of Julius Ceasar’s assassination.
