Back to RegistryParentage: ‘Feng Dan Bai’ x Unknown. First bloomed 2016, first propagated 2020. Early blooming SINGLE flowers are a lavender pink fading to light pink/white at petal edge (RHS NN78D, N155B), with flat guard petals that average 5cm (2”) in diameter. Flowers are 15.25cm (6”) in diameter, outward facing, and average one per stem. Fragrance noted. Five moderately hairy, light yellow-green (RHS 144D) carpels with purple-red (RHS 60D) stigmas are present. Has pollen, and produces seeds. Stamens are more than 2cm (0.75”) long, with vivid reddish-purple (N74B) filaments that transition to brilliant greenish-yellow (5B) at the tips. Sheath is red (180C), and complete. Plants reach 81cm (32”) at maturity, and carry broadly pointed, green-pink foliage. Growth habit is upright. Stems are hardy, and not often damaged by wind, yet still thin and elegant in appearance. Winter damage not noted, and grafts easily.
